While digging through stuff today I came upon this fun uniform! All three items were part of the S-H bicycle officer's uniform. The silk top and bottom were made in Italy are are typical for a bicycle suit (i.e. padded butt). The jacket is a very lightweight GorTex type item.
The jacket is HUGE!! It's a Size 60!! My S-H Polizei friends who brought me this uniform got a laugh when I put it on. I usually take a 50
I asked them who on Earth could actually be this big and yet ride a bicycle. I was thinking the guy was really fat. One of my friends looked at the label and found the officer's name in it. He told the other officer friend the name and they both started laughing. Not fat! Apparently this was a well known officer in his day because he could have held his own while wrestling Arnold Schwarzenegger. Damn, that is one cop I'd never resist arrest with
