    Bw in 1955

    Hi,

    my father was the forth press and information chief of Amt Blank, see THE Spiegel as of 10 th august 1955 and responsible for the personell STAN of the BW. If you want, i will share what I have, before he was close to Adenauer ( 1st German Chancellor)

        thank you to welcome me to the forum.
        My father wrote a diary ( nearly every day, five to six sentences per day ) from 28th february 1955 up to december 1958. But I can only share by email, not by posting.
        In my opinion a rich memory of the first days of the young Federal Republic of Germany and of the young BW.

        Do you know the nickname of the Andernach battalion?

        I will not sell these dox but I would like to share them with people who are interested in.

          Thanks for joining!

          Your father's journal sound like an incredible source of information! I would encourage you to make copies and perhaps turn it into an eBook. This sort of information is very difficult for historians and collectors to find. You could edit out personal comments if you felt your father would like it that way. I am sure early BW enthusiasts like us would find a lot of value in the daily observations.
