Help needed in identifying Pionier unit

Team - These c.1970 photographs of 3. Panzerdivsion combat engineers (mechanized) arrived today and I'm trying to establish what Pionierbataillon they belonged to. My guess would be Pionierbataillon 3 in Hamburg.

Could anyone confirm?

The first photo shows a rather dour and disheveled lad. His 3rd Panzer patch is just visible. It appears to be outlined in white. Note too the black trim on the epaulettes and black backing on the collar tabs.

Next up is a posed photo in front of a diagram depicting an obstacle belt with three AT mines.

Two of the engineers are holding wire cutters. They probably just finished an exercise on breaching an obstacle. Our favorite gefreiter is seen to the far right. He doesn't seem any happier.

The final shot shows the troops training with what appears to be a Carl Gustav anti-tank weapon.

Note the black branch cord for Pioniere on the epaulette of our friend. Note how he has flipped his shoulder board upside down for security reasons. He is still not happy.

If the edge of the SSI is just white that would put smiler in PzPiKp 70 of 7 PzGrenBde.

Yes. PiBtl 3 would be the divisional unit with white adge striped black.
