FN FAL Prototype pouches

Just got my new toy: A full and mint set of the FN Fal magazine pouches with belt and suspenders of 1957. Surprisingly comfortable, with hooks added for the 1959 type combat pack (Große Kampftasche). The magazines are 1958 dated.

This type of set is shown in Schuster´s "Ausstattungssoll..." , too.

The integral suspenders have hooks for the Backpacks, but no aid straps to fix them at the bottom.

Any ideas?

hoover - Amazing.

This is the only set I know of that is held by a private collector.

The set pictured is held by the Technical Museum in Koblenz.

The pouches were a lucky Ebay-find. And the 4 1958 dated FAL Mags were a nice and unpaid gift because magazine are not allowed for trade in German ebay.
