    Early army officer shoulder boards

I have a diminishing one army officer to get the first hour.
It was these very early shoulder pieces of art this round.
    I've never seen such pieces.

    What do you think?

I have a few double if a need to report it, please :-)

In my opinion clearly tailor made boards used on a late 50ies tailor made four pocket tunic to replace the pointed ones ...
I once bought a lot coming from a tailor shop containing lots of half finished boards like this ...

      Regards,

      Jens

Interesting!! I don't think I've seen this type before (shoulder end wider than button end). Jens' explanation these were intended to "upgrade" a pre 1963 uniform makes perfect sense.
