Steve, Many thanks for your reply and advice.
I've opened a Photobucket login and posted pictures of the tunic there. It gives me the option of, 'share this photo' and lists codes for E-mail & IM; Direct Link; HTML code and IMG Code [IMG]http://i1236.photobucket.com/al
I'm not sure if I just use this latter code and, if so,where do I put it?
On the subject of the tunic, I'm not suggesting that such buys are a common occurrence in Army surplus shops, but they are out there, and I've made a few over the last 10/15 yrs. The funny thing about this affenjacke was that I saw it for sale at the same stand last year and didn't buy it because I'd just spent £70.00 on a 1956 splittertarn jacket, which was bought from a dealer at the same show. Afterwards I kicked myself for not having bought the affenjacke, only to find it still for sale at the same stall this year, albeit a few quid more expensive than last year. Unbelievable!!

      No problem!

For the image, you just post the [IMG] type URL in the body of a post, just like anything else you write. The forum software does the rest. There are other tags you can use, such as bolding, quoting, linking to another webpage, etc. When you create a post you'll see some of these tags in iconic form along the top of the text window area. Works very slick and it's easy to get the hang of.

Good to hear you managed to make good on your "regret"! I have a no regrets collecting policy, thanks to some failures early in my collecting career. If I see something that I think I want, I try to get it. If I see something I KNOW I want, I go all out to the point that I know I won't regret losing out on it. The most expensive, blood letting experience I've ever had on eBay was for a 1957 Broad Splinter FJ set. I paid more for that uniform than any other in my collection by 2x. It's 7 years later and I do not regret it at all. Had I not bid hard on it... I'd still be sobbing over not having it.

My no regret policy isn't easy on the bank account, but I sleep well

Nice jacket!! I really like the NCO ones best. The early copper colored shoulder braid and rank looks really slick, IMHO.

Your posted link was ALMOST correct. All you needed was a / mark for the second IMG tag. First tags always have no /, second tags always have a / preceding the alphabet portion of the tag. Also, it's not the correct URL. These image websites have many, many different ways of display images, each with it's own URL coding. However, only one specific one will work as an image posted on a Forum. Because I'm not you, with your access, I can't see what that URL is. You should be able to find it somewhere when you're logged in.
