DSO/KSK uniforms

In an earlier thread I promised I would show an example of the special DSO/KSK uniforms. Most of the ones seen on eBay are not genuine issue, being made by companies such as Sabre, Leo Köhler, and Tacgear (probably others). The construction, however, appears to be the same as the genuine issue items.

Here are two pictures of desert trousers:





This is genuine issue as far as I can tell.

Here are pictures of the semi-official "Wüstentarn" uniform made by Sabre. It uses almost the same specifications as the official items:









Some pictures from displays (I don't know where) and Afghanistan:







I recently won some other items, but I won't have them for a while. When I receive them I will post pictures.

Steve - Your ability to get your hands on cool stuff never ceases to amaze.

Is that a "rubber ducky" G36 on the display? If so, it makes for a fairly decent mock-up to put on display with a mannequin.

I have yet to see a "stock version" of the Airsoft G36; they all seem to be "tricked out" KSK versions.

Happy to share.

It seems that the early production trousers had the mono-color nylon pockets and knees, but more recent ones are using camouflage printed cloth. I've noted this on both the 5 color and 3 color versions. 2002 is the earliest production I've seen.

When looking through photos the easiest way to spot these special uniforms is:

1. large arm pockets with velcro
2. Canadian style buttoned leg pockets (also look for the leg straps)
