Can someone help by telling me the rank of this?

I ran across my cousins uniform he sent me, i believe he was in the Luftwaffe.. and i was wondering what rank/Branch this was from.

The rank slip-on is up side down and and looks like it's sewn onto the shoulder boards - which shouldn't be.

I took them off a Goretex rain parka. They have velcro on the other side. I only put it up for the picture. Thank you kamerad!

Hi there,
that was my first thought --- They might be for the Nässeschutz (Goretex rain parka).
The rank patches for the Nässeschutz tend to have such sloppy stitching.
