    Gentleman, thank you for the education. I kind of figured it might be because of the "switch blade" type.
    I'm not even sure that would be legal to own in some parts of the US. Unless it was Grandfathered in as a military collectible?
    Keeping it in a drawer, and viewing it once in awhile in solitude,(not showing everyone,and then be in solitary), would most probably be the only alternative as Nico suggested
