BGS 1972 Sumpftarn Parka with Velcro (Klettverschluss)?

Is it possible that a 3rd Generation BGS Sumpftarn Parka come with a "Velcro" (Klettverschluss) pocket on its sleeve (the one for pencils)? The Parka is a 1972 production.
I've served myself 17 years in the Bundeswehr and the first Velcro on uniforms I remember was introduced in the early '90s.

Yes, it was very early for a uniform to use velcro ("hook and loop"). One of the earliest uses of velcro. But this is standard on the parka since it was first produced in 1967. Most militaries stayed away from velcro for a long time because of the noise and durability.

Unofficially Spanish soldiers used velcro since the mid-1970s on their uniforms. If I think hard I can probably identify other uses around this time, but I don't think of anything earlier than BGS.
