Missing badges on an FJ tunic

    Thanks for the info. Now we only have to figure out what French unit a BW soldier could belong to that he would wear a French badge on his shoulder. I'll have to see what units the Deutsche-Französische Brigade was composed of. That is probably going to be a difficult task.

      Gentlemen,

      It was much easier than I thought it would be to find a list of the component units of this Brigade. Here is their web site with their organizational structure. It also shows unit wappen. In addiition, I found that all members of the Brigade don't wear the brigade arm badge. This probably only worn by the Headquarters comppany. The training picture below both French and German soldiers from this brigade wearing different arm badges.
