NATO era Army Bugs

[Army Bug]

I have a 1979 German Army VW Bug.
They are called PERSONENKRAFTWAGEN (PKW).
Looking for any info, photos, manuals,
vehicle equipment for these vehicles.

Also looking for a communications logo
that might have been on the front and
back of this Bug. It was in some sort
of commo group.

This army bug will be in Chicago
Memorial Day parade, 2010.
