    Franken Insignia...What are they?

    Can anyone tell me the purpose of these or what they were used for and when? They are both made in Germany. Thanks a lot in advance!!

      Franken is a region in the south of Germany.

        Yes, "Franken" is a region in southern Germany, the city of Nuremberg is in this region.

        These badges look like carnival badges imo.

            I have moved this thread to the West German forum...

                Won't say so, I would say it's maby for a Schützenbund or voluntary service in Franken.
