Hello Thomas,

The beret of the Falli NCO in post #12 (front row, third from right) is interesting.

Given the addition of the non-regulation 'pins', I can only assume that he is not current serving personnel. I have a similar suspicion concerning some of the others in the formation as well (call it old sweat's intuition - a number of them look a little 'past their prime'). The uniforms are 'modern' but not so some of those wearing them. My suspicion is that it could be an "unofficial' delegation of ex-service men and women.

Intersting images though, particularly the little Italian Seniorita (#17)! Why didn't we have 'recruits' like that in the 1970's!
