        Last model of the BGS helmet that I have in my collection is another LS made shell.
        This time we have a 66 in a more greenish paint that looks more like Polizeigrün.
        No ventilation holes on this one:

                      Another helmet accessoir that can be seen in many period pics is the BGS
                      helmet training band.
                      Seems that this model has also been worn by the Bundeswehr in the early years.

                            Hello,
                            here another BGS Helmet first model. Wehrmacht m35 ET66 shell with first model liner. The ink stamp insinde the shell is unknown to me.

                                What a beauty!!!

                                This is the first clear color picture I recall seeing of the first model liner which Ludwig Baer refers to as the "vereinfachter Innenausstattung".

                                The stamp is a mystery to me as well. Does anyone recognize it? I know Linnemann & Schnetzer were involved with BGS helmet development early on; could this be an early version of their "LS" logo?
