I have this duffel bag that appears to be West German, but I'm not sure. What do you all think? Thanks.

Judging by the stamp it's Austrian from before 1975, I think it's for the M1957 uniform but maybe also before that

Nice piece, strange piece It is definitely Austrian. Perhaps 1958, though the stamp is hard to read. Looks like a duffel bag designed to be optionally carried on the standard combat Y-Straps. I have a very large camouflage backpack dated 1959 and have seen OD versions of the same pack later in the 1960s. I expect what you have here was the first large backpack model before someone remembered that it rains in Austria and doesn't it suck to have your clothes get all wet from an open toped duffel on the back
