Oh yes!
And especially since the fashion victims are using smaller berets ("commando style" ) it is a very ugly looking headdress.

Because the "Pizzabäckerbarett" looks why much better, right?
I wouldn't mind wearing a sidecap though.

the small Commando style berets are as ugly as the regular berets. Especially if too thin or too chubby guys wearing it. Too often they are looking ridiculous.

The main question with most gear - especially with headgear - is WHO wears an item in which SIZE ... If seen pictures from the early 70ies with some Luftwaffe soldiers wearing sidecaps looking as if it is two sizes too small while having a Beatle stile haircut combined with a beard ... today you would not eaven like to look that way in carnival ...

Did you ever saw french Chasseurs Alpin? They have funny Berets. Like a family size Pizza. Have to find mine to take a Pic.
Especially with the White Cover you look like a Pizzarista.
