    Bundeswehr Sport Clothing

Another addition to my collection from my trip to the militaria warehouse last week. This is the standard two piece, two tone blue, sweat suit worn by the BW for some time. I haven't bought one before because allmost all that I have seen have the large A stamped across the Bundeswehr patch on the breast. None of the one in the warehouse were stamped so I decided to get one. I picked this one, even though there is a problem with the zipper, because not only was the crest frre of the A stamp but it had this interest badge with the L in the centre. This L badge probably stands for LEHR but I have no reference material for this badge. Can anyone provide some info on it? For example; who would have worn it? was it used only in one service or across the BW? Do the colours have any specific meaning?

    Regards,

    Gordon

              Uwe,

Thanks for the info and the URL. A badge I hadn't seen before and the URL is great for reference.

              Regards,

              Gordon
