Do you have photo of entire label or was it removed? These usually indicate organisation or its abbreviation. I thought maybe Deutsche Bundesbahn official from one of higher Besoldungsgruppen, but silver buttons are wrong for DB. I am not sure which other organisations may have used blue caps with black, texture cap-band and woven cap-cord.

Interesting hat! In looking through old photos from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, the hat could be for just about anything. In the photos, it appears that everyone had a hat/uniform. Bus drivers, Eisenbahn, Deutsche Post, etc.

Looks to be pretty early, whatever it is.

All I can see is manufacturer (Alkero) and "Stirndruckfrei" with Patent number. Cannot read what it says around diamond except "Mützenfabrik." What colour is cap cord? Looks dirty white in photos. Probably some other Transport service? Without insignia it is difficult.
