Thank you Gordon, for all your efforts in puting some light on these boots.
I think that nobody can not be 100% sure about the provenience of these boots....
I think that the markings are for sure in the "Military Way", so I would exclude
that were made exclusively for the Civil market, as stated by the member Asbjoern...
Is true that after the war, most of the German Military boots left, were used by the German Civilians, due shortage of raw material...
I bought these pair of boots, in 1996, as WW2 German period made....(the Dealer said so...)
At the time I had no idea that the number 61, was the year of manufacture...
Is that so?
