Here is a Bundesgrenzshutz camo jacket I got several years ago at a flea market in Germany. It is mostly complete, though unfortunately someone cut out the portion where the buttons and buttonholes (or a zipper) went. The straps for the sleeve cuffs are present - one is still attached but missing both buttons to attach to and the other is present with both buttons but is unattached. All pocket buttons are present. The drawstring at the waist is missing, but the one for the hood is present. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape except for small tear or two and some staining.
I can't find any markings - it has a spot that may have had a tag and below that is a faint stamped number code. The lack of pocket on the upper left sleeve and some I saw on other threads here leads me to believe it's an early model from the 50s or 60s. I just wanted to see what anyone out there thoguht about time period and rarity as I will probably try to sell it on the e-stand.
Thank you,
Dale
