Along with WWII stuff I have a love for the gear of the Bundswehr, especially from the 80's up till today. Places to find this stuff seem kind of limited though, and most of what's around is just common flektarn jackets and the like. Does anyone know some good sources I could check out? Occasionally ebay will have some uncommon stuff, but not too often.

I don't know of any dealers that specialize in BW stuff. Most of those you find carry BW items along with other militaria. ebay.com has BW stuff from time-toi-time as you have mentioned but ebay.de is where you really need to look if you are seriously interested in BW items. The problem with buying in Germany is the cost of shipping.
You could also look in the estand here on the forum. There is a BW Luftwaffe generals tunic on the estand right now but you need to know your stuff before buying an item like that.
Another way you might help yourself, and us, is to go a little further back on this forum and find the thread asking people to indicate if they would support a BW Forum if we set one up. A BW Forum on the WAF would produce more interest in this collecting area plus contacts with other with a like interest.
