Is there enough interest for a Bundeswehr category?

There have been a few really good threads on Bundeswehr uniforms lately and I was curious if there were enough people out there with interest to justify a standalone category for just BRD items (similar to the DDR category)?

I for one would really support a BW Forum. In the past there have been several comments on the International Forum about the need for a Bundeswehr Forum. Where are you guys now? Please make a supporting comment on this thread and we can build a great forum together!

Not before we get a Dedicated forum for French Militaria! Luming it in with International does not cut it. We need a "WWI International forum" in the least.

I think that a BW Forum is a great idea.

BW pops up every now and then and myself i think it is worth the effort.
I collect ww1 till irakwar.

So not only ww1 and ww2
it think the post ww2 deserves more attention these days because this is also of historical significance.

I think it sounds like a good idea. I would prefer that it be a Bunderepublik Deutschland Forum, instead of a Bundeswehr Forum. It could encompass all military and civil organizations from the time period (BW, BGS, THW, Polizei, Feuerwehr, etc.) like the DDR Forum does. BW Forum sounds more exclusionary to paramilitary and civil groups.

I could certainly live with a BRD Forum as opposed to just BW. My LSU cap has fostered some research into that topic and it would be easily accomodated by the more generic BRD category. Great idea!

I agree with your suggestion as I have a keen interest in civilain organization such as the THW, west german police, uniforms from Berlin etc. Thanks for making the suggestion. With a BRD Forum I could post pictures like this one.
