Help needed with Id of badge

Any idea what this badge is ,a friend of mine is in Germany and this belongs to his neighbor,the neighbor said it was her grandfather's.

It`s a US Labor Service/Civillian Support "Dienstzeitauszeichnung" (commemorative and good conduct badge) for German personnel serving for the US Forces in Germany.

Hi,

there are different service times for this decoration, 1 or 3 years. And there are different names:

"Deutsche Labor Service Dienstauszeichnung/German Labor Commemorative and Good Conduct Badge"

"Deutsche Labor Service Ein-Jahres-Dienstauszeichnung"

"Deutsche Labor Service Drei-Jahres-Dienstauszeichnung"

And there are additional tags for longer service, for 5, 10, 15 or more years. See the picture for 5 (silver) and 10 (golden) years.
