This is not a ‘Rupert’ para dummy in any way shape or form

I have a feeling it is period US toy, however, I think it looks different to other examples I’ve seen

This is the one I was thinking of it’s a Raggy Doodle paratrooper toy. They came in slightly different styles and parachutes

Agreed, a toy. Posted pics don’t show scale, but I had one that looked similar, it was only ~10” tall. Ruperts were much larger:

Yeah, just asked the owner and he said that it’s was given to a lady during the liberation of Belgium. Do you know how much they’re worth?

Well it looks like he paid $75 for it on the 28th December from the US (no mention of the liberation of Belgium in that listing!). It’s the same one, check out the black piece of material on the collar at the back, the brown stain above the left eye on the helmet and the stain in the middle of the parachute pack on the rear. It was also correctly listed when it was sold in the US:

Factor in postage to the UK and a bit of profit I guess £80 - £100 is a fair bid, but do you want to buy something from someone who has lied to you?

Yeah I agree. He has it for £300! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F153803298819

I was just curious really as it didn’t look like the normal paradummie. It’s not my area of collecting anyway. But thanks for all the help.
