    Nevil Shute AA Rocket Glider

Impulse purchase the other day, just had to have it, well for a while anyway Its boxed and sorry i couldnt take shots of it together as i dont want to break anything as i belive these were glued before being sent up. Its complete and the ''take to police station if found'' is quite neat. Produced according to a couple of sites around 1943 and 44 to help AA units in target practice and the dreamchild of Nevile Shute who during the war worked in the Navy becoming head of engineering at the DMWD

I think it’s cool! I think I’d have to try and put it together, is there anyway you could do it without gluing it?

Belive they are paper mache over a balsa wood frame with a metal back end for taking a little rocket charge

I think that I’d have to display it made up (hanging from the ceiling!). Is there anyway you could wedge some card or something similar to keep the wings in place without gluing?

Did read that they were glued for flight, I'd really like to hang it from the ceiling but will not just fit together without more strength as the wings might be a tad heavy and might just break the out struts, perhaps thin wedges might work
