    British trench Optic..

    I just found this one this morning.
    I am not into british militaria, so i have a few questions.

    * Is it rare??
    * Whats the use?? Trench scope or ??
    * Whats the value??

        Nice interesting item, I have never seen one before so I dont know how much it would be worth? Maybe one of the other guys might know.

          HI.

          It's actually rather funne, it fits perfetcly on a tripod used for a ww2 germen optic.

                "Donkeys Ears". Used by most Armies for observation from either a trench or through the slit of a bunker. If orientated the direction of observation can be read on the scale, also used in some of the East German Border Towers.

                    Hi jacob,

                    Over here in the states you would be looking at 150-250 dollars depending on condition. If the optics are clear then 250 is what you could expect. They are called "rabbit ears" and are missing a leatherette covering on the tubes, which hurts the value.
