help on cloth patch

can anyone identify this cloth patch and give me any information about it please.this is not my field of collecting and i dont have a clue

Looks just like the Liverpool Pals?

Yes, it features the crest, the Ducal Cap of Lord Derby - the same design as the metal cap badge of the four "Liverpool Pals" battalions.

It was made up from Kitchener bns of the Liverpool Regt & of the Manchester Regt.
France Novemeber 1915, & stayed on the Western Front until the war ended, having been reduced to a cadre in May 1918 because of casualties, & reconstituted a couple of months later.

I don't think that this badge was worn before the reconstitutionin 1918, by then the Div was made up of units from all over the shop, including from London.
