Genuine Desert Tommy helmet ?

This just arrived in a bag of sheeps manure(empty) I have been searching for a real one for ages .The liner is South African and the shell is JSS 1 then 3 1940 and it doesnt have those 3 little holes ,drillops of yellow paint on the liner the screw hasnt been undone green interior .What do you guys think a genuine Desert Eighth Army Tommy helmet or an Easter Island Defence force lid.All responses welcome.Rob.
