You have seen the badge on the left from before ... I need some information on the Australian Military Forces Badge on the right. Apparently it came on a hat that I will show after these. Not sure where it came from or when ... it was with his other stuff. Comments appreciated on this one.Attached Files

Phew ...
That about does it for now. They are still in the process of cleaning out his den. I know for a fact that he had some German WW2 memoriabilia when he came back. I have his P-38 pistol and holster (posted in the firearms section). I know he has another Kriegsmarine Gold Bullion Breast Eagle (of which I have a twin to it) and also a German - Italian Afrika Campaign Medal -- which would tie in well with my thread on the elusive controversay on authentic pieces. I haven't seen that badge for about 30 years
Dad was saying he had a another German Cross with Swastika and ribbon also ... wonder what THAT one is .. ???
Anyway ... I'm beat. I hope you all enjoyed this ... and if ANYONE has anything they would like to add I would appreciate it alot. Especially on the tunic (values etc) and also any identication or additional information you may have on the badges or other things I posted above.
Just thought I'd add this .... I am NOT looking to sell or break up this group .. I would like to know what approximate value of some of the items are thoughLast edited by h009291; 04-28-2005, 09:51 PM.

Hi Darrell,
Wow absolutely fantastic stuff there . I am very interested in the Canadian involvement in the Italian campaign. Badged Canadian Battledress Jackets tend to sell around the $350-450 USD mark. I have a grouping to a Canadian Stretcher Bearer/Medic similiar to yours which includes Battledress, Paybook, Documents, Badges etc... He also fought in Italy, Belgium and Holland.
I am going to italy during the summer and hope to get down to Monte Cassino. I will post photos on the forum when I get back.
Below is my complete Canadian in Italy circa 1943/44 mannequin impression(Everything is original wartime from the boots which are not visible to the scarf). I love Italian campaign stuff but its a bit forgotten in the grand scheme of things.Attached Files
