HMS Malaya Mess Badge / Plaque?

It is a plaque that is affiliated with the Queen Elizabeth-class battleship Malaya.





Is this an item from the war or is it post-war for reunions? Any information about this plaque would be very helpful.

They are very decorative and I think you are probably right in your thoughts,
I have had minesweeper versions just in cast metal.

Indeed post ww2 but that is still a sort of war era, a veteran type or mess he plaque
