Cap comforter ww2 ?

Hello, i just found this cloth piece. Looks like a cap comforter to me.
Dimensions are 36x8 inchs.
A chance to be ww2 or belgian ?

By the Colour & Material / Knitting I would think it's more modern US.

If it is green, I was wearing one during the 1970's onwards, (British Army).

Yes indeed it is a cap comfortable but not ww2 it looks a bit modern

It’s difficult to say really I suppose the edge could have a clue but they probably used the same design for years,
See my super modern version, these things are still great to use today
