MK II Helmet, bitish or Belgian ?

Hello, i just found this helmet, Is this MK II helmet a british one with belgian chinstrap and liner or a pure belgian ?
No traces of a belgian flag.
The marking is not easy to see, looks like OMC..
If british is the paint original british ?
    Thank you for your opinions.

Your helmet is a Greek MkII. It originally started life as a British MkII. After World War 2 many British and Italian Helmets were refurbished with new liners, chin straps, and sometimes new paint. Most of the refurbishments happened in the early to mid 1950s. If you google Greek MkII, You should haven trouble finding more information about your helmet. I hope this helps.

        Hi,

the paint is Greek, and as already stated, post-1953. I have written an article about the refurbishing of Greek MkII and M34/39 helmets on my website. I hope you 'll find it interesting!
