I don't know about you guys but I have seen crazy high prices at the shows past couple years. Way more than ebay and forum e-stand and similar sites. I say wow your price on a WW2 Canadian lid with camo netting at $350 is overpriced. They say well we get those prices. Lots of foreign buyers coming from Vancouver etc.

No logic to Canadian collectors taking a flight to the US to pay far more?------------------------------------------------

My grandfather who ran a used furniture and junk store from the late 1930's through the 1970's used to say "There is no rhyme nor reason why people buy and sell stuff" In other words everyone has different motivations for the way they buy and sell stuff. If I have the money, what's wrong with paying a little or a lot extra to know for 100% that you have an original item? I have purchased items the seller knows are worth hundreds of dollars for a few dollars, its not always about making a profit, some people just want to get rid of stuff and make sure it goes to someone that appreciates it. Who knows
