This is the one and only picture I have right now. Can anybody tell if it's worth a long drive to take a closer look ? Possible value if it checks out to be good ??? thanks !
I agree with Nick, the thin crossguard is not correct and probably means it is a post-war civilian copy. Also, the elastic band appears too wide for an original scabbard.
