    What do you think of it? I can't get to the back because it is sewn to a great coat.

          the logic to the patch was that a Yank in the RCAF could not sweare allegiance to HIM George VI and stay a US citizen hence they had to take an 'Oath of Obedience' to the KR&OS.

          Ie In the RCAF but not part of the RACF if that makes any sense.

          By the way the 'Canada' flash was a reconigtion the HIM George VI was king of Canada (not just a way to tell uniforms appart) and was granted by royal pattent hence the two differnt flashes.

          As this chap was a corporal I would think he was one of the many techs that stayed in the RCAF after 42 wihle most of the air-crew where repatriated.
