The formation sign looks fine, a standard glue-back variety.

    Enjoy the hobby, Keith

        Thank you Keith and Bond.

Some have said Glue-back indicates definite WW2 manufacture. Is this true?

The “glue back” is a good indicator of WW2 manufacturer. To my understanding it was an inexpensive way to stabilize the reverse of the patch and it’s embroidery. I am unsure if this practice extended into the early post war period.

Thanks, I'm not so sure either.
