    Propaganda chamber pot

    Hello,

Does anyone know anything about miniature pots?

This one was obviously made after the invasion of Poland, are they common? Why were they made? I mean, they are too small to use or were they 1940s seaside souvenirs?.

There are several different potties made originally by Fieldings and them copied by other manufactures ,they are meant to be used as ashtrays with a little anti German message so you dont forget theres a war going on and just who the bad guys are ,I havent seen this particular one before ,but they are quite collectible and are fetching higher and higher prices ,I followed one on ebay a couple of weeks ago that made £95 .Rob.

        Rob,

There was a nice one on ebay today which was marked "Fieldings" but was already over the price I was prepared to pay (£30).

I bought this one about 2 years ago and it just has "Made in England" on the bottom.
