Our local organization (www.pcvf.org ) has received 2 hats for the collection. Does anyone know what they are?

Peak Cap is British Army 20th Hussars.

The first looks like an early 19th century 'bonnet de police' or 'fatigue cap', possibly with a personalized front piece. The crown is not British, so likely one of the European armies. Impossible to say from the single shot how old it is, though the cloth looks right for such an item, so may be a modern copy of an historic cap.

The badge is of the type worn by the (British Army) 20th Hussars, but the cap is not.

The cap is known a Caps, Royal, and is worn by many different Regiments and Corps'. An image of the markings inside the cap may tell you more, it is also missing the chin strap and buttons.

No idea at all on the first one, however more images may help.
