British para helmet

I found this British para helmet in the family of a member of the Belgian resistance,it seems untouched since the end of the war.
Still in the same family since 73 years,i found that amazing.
As i only collect third reich stuffs,i should like to have your specialists advises about that helmet.
The liner is marked BMB 1944,and the size is 7 3/8

No idea,but it was in the family since the war

i think that i gonna sale it,because it is not my area of collection,i was visiting that guy for a SS dagger he was selling,and i bought both,the British helmet and the German dagger.
