I'm not an expert on these things but it looks like a C Type helmet. Are there any stamps inside or crowsfeet? If there's a 22C/ prefix to any numbers, then that's an RAF s'exual preference' (section ref. no.).

Looks like a C Type thats never been wired, allthough there is a shadow where the ear pieces could have been. Are there any stitch holes?

Hi,

I think I can see stitch holes where the ear cups once were. My guess would be that they were removed, a piece of leather sewn over the holes and the helmet used on a motorcycle post war.

Hi K,

There should be a number and possibly a broad arrow stamped into the leather on the outside near the chin strap.
I believe it is a later C-type pattern with no internal wiring
Value in this condition I guess about 30Euro.
