    Royal Standard 1905

I recently acquired this pre-1907 pattern Royal Standard. It is maker marked, dated 1905, and has size designation 12 x 6'. I'm curious if anyone knows the size protocol for which flag is flown where.

This one shows a bit of wear and tear but it is a nicely made banner with all the various elements individually sewn in.

    Hello paulj:
A very nice addition to your superb flag collection -
congratulations. Can't say I've seen many of these for
sale, especially a vintage 1905 example like yours.

Right! Thanks, it was being used as a table cover when I found it. I've never seen one for sale and I was quite pleased when the vendor decided to part with it.

Here are the stamps for the designation and the size.

Thanks for a further look at your UK-RS header markings.
Interesting to note that at the May 1937
        UK Coronation
Naval Review, it looks like the Royal Standard was flown
from the Graf Spee top mast.
        That would be super rare.
