ID help needed about a Wilkinson EIIR Sword

    Hi all,

Just got this one today and I'm trying to figure out what it is exaclty. I took a guess because the seller price was very low, I had paid under 100$ for it. As far as I know its post 1953 because of the EIIR seal, probably canadian because of the maple leafs on the guard and made in England by Wilkinson and its 40 inches long.

I would like to know wich branch / unit this sword was used for and if its indeed Canadian or British. Thanks

A nice Standard Wilkinson would be used by any number of French Candain Units, except the 22 le Vingt-deuxième, the GG and the RHR.

Also could come from RMC Saint-Jean

100$ would be good price for this one.

        Hi,

You mean that this type of sword can be used by any regiment in Quebec ? That will explain the province coat of arm on the guard where we normally found the regiment badge on a foot guard model. Thanks.
