Help Needed - British Staff Officers Tunic

    Hello Gents,

I have a nice British (Indian) staff officers tunic in my collection for a captain. It has a name tag on the inside, but it is hard to read both the name and the date. The tunic has GVR buttons.

Can you please help me with the name? What can it be?

    Maybe the date is 1/11/1915.

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards,
    Balazs

Thank you for your great and fast help. It really looks like Capt. Keen could be the original owner of the tunic. There were some medals originally attached to the tunic, at least 5. As you wrote Keen had a nice collection, so it is possible that on the tunic was 5 of them.
I am going to take photos about the tunic and post it soon.

      Thanks again.

The 45th were staioned on the NWF, mostly at Dera Ismail Khan, from 1911 to 1916, when they went to Mesopotamia. So, an officer of that regiment might well have ordered his uniforms from a tailor in Rawalpindi.

Peter, thank you for your comment. It is an interesting addition to the tunic.
I have found 2 photos about Col. Keen.

Not Captain Keen from Carry on up the Khyber then?
