Denison - Printed or Painted?

I would like to ask for help regarding this 1st pattern smock. In many cases the print pattern seen on smocks is easily determined as either printed or painted. Can I get opinions on this one, please? I've had contradicting opinions so would like to lay the matter at rest.
Another query is the spacing on the repeat of the pattern on British camouflage material used for smocks.

Thanks Eubank - no label, and no sign of ever having had one. No stamps internally, either (which I've had on previous Denisons).
