    Hi Des,

    Yes, it's a cracking example if it is original, as you say. I spent many hours looking at it last September through the glass. From what I could see it looked ok. Now here's the shocking part...there's a "P" on each arm I don't know what the reason for this is but perhaps they were meant to wear them as standard formation signs?

        Hi Des,

        Just had a look at that now and it's interesting that Mr. B. L. Davis didn't see it!

        Here are some rather poor pics I took of the BD in the Hartenstein. What's weird (and I don't think I picked up on it before) is that the one on the left seems to be printed and the one on the right looks embroidered? Very odd indeed! I didn't think printed examples were ever made?
