Gents:
I no longer own this tunic (unforunately), but I was always intrigued with this officer's valiant history. I was able to find a couple of things, but anything that could be added would be much appreciated.
This is the WW1 officer's SD for Major Ambrose Lorne Lockwood DSO MC of the RAMC. I know that he recieved his DSO in the London Gazette on 3/6/18 as a "Birthday Award for France/Flanders (what does that mean?). Apparently, he was an "Old Contemptable" with a rose on the 14-15 Star. I don't know anything more about him, including his MC. You guys up for a challenge?
