Zulu war medal help needed

This is a friends medal who was trying to find out a little bit more about the winner of this medal. The medal is to a spr in the Royal Engineers S Pinchen, number 13916, i do not think that he was at Rokes Drift but it would be great to know a bit more about him. Thank you in anticipation.

He also appears in "Royal Hospital, Chelsea: Disability and Royal Artillery Out-Pensions, Admission Books WO 116"

First name shown as Samuel. Discharge Date: 10 Jan 1882.

Guys thank you for the feedback on this medal, my friend will be pleased to know. I did try and take photo's of the rim but it was awkward with my mobile. I am sure that my friend will ask how much is it worth, would anyone know? I will try and get some photo's of the rim tomorrow

Thanks Rob, It is a nice medal, i wish that it had been a Welsh regt I would have loved to have owned one of them.
