      It's for sure a post-war F&S knife in pristine condition a beauty with a depot mark with the date 1979

          This does not appear to be an official issue knife, for the period it should have the NATO stores stock code stamped on the guard.

          There is loads of information on post war F-S knives in Ron Flook's book on FS knives.

            I do not have the book. But could it be that this knife walked off before it was issued?
