RFC Officers Cap Badge Opinions?

Hello All:

I have had this badge for several years and I am wondering whether it is original. It is a bit off of my collecting focus and opinions are welcomed.

RFC Badge

This badge appears original to me. I have yet to see a dark bronze tang back copy. I would also say that the quality of striking suggests an original badge.

I agree looks original to me to ,perhaps not quite as dark as it should be .Rob.

Look fine to me too. Like Robb I tend to see them in the more "chocolate" coloured shade of bronze.

Thanks all for your knowledge and opinions. The badge is actually a dark chocholate brown and I had kinda "lightened" the scan to show the detail of the badge.
